Top Vehicles of July 2003
Honda Rules

The Honda Accord regained its place as the overall most requested vehicle and top car in July, putting cars ahead of trucks for the first time since March.

In the trucks category, the Ford F-Series pickup is back in the lead after having played second fiddle to the Chevy Silverado for three months straight. The Dodge Ram has maintained its footing in the third place spot since time immemorial.

An upset occurred in the SUVs category, as the Honda Pilot skyrocketed up from fourth place to the number one spot. The Hondas dominated overall, with the CR-V coming in a close second after the Pilot. The Chevy Tahoe took third place after having spent a three-month reign in first place.

In the Minivans category, Honda dominated again, with the Odyssey regaining the number one spot from the Toyota Sienna, which held that seat for three months.

Honda’s performance last month in the Cars, SUVs, and Minivans categories begs the question: what might Honda have churning under its hood in the way of pickups trucks?
